"Wine makes daily living easier, less hurried, with fewer tensions and more tolerance."

Benjamin Franklin

Our vineyard is nestled in the heart of the West Tamar Valley on the rolling hills of Loira and is now 3ha large (read: boutique).

We pride ourselves in being the first and only vineyard in the Tamar Valley with the red varieties Blaufränkisch and Dornfelder.
Our other red variety is Pinot Noir. Our white varieties are Chardonnay, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Gris.

Our terroir is quite unique.
A little history lesson has learned us that during the Permian age (286-245 million years ago), this part of the earth suffered under a cold, glacial climate.

Pebbles and limestone were deposited, which eventually formed the rolling hill country and created a unique terroir for our vineyard and
the perfect environment for our cool-climate grapevines.

Our apple orchard has the varieties Golden Delicious, Frederick, Cox Orange Pippin and Kingston Black.

We've been making a dry cider since 2012, which is the perfect thirst quencher on a warm summer day.

Many visitors bring their own picnic and enjoy their lunch or nibbles at the picnic tables with a glass of Winter Brook wine or cider in the shade of the apple trees.
